Steve Caplin is a graphic artist specialising in photomontage illustration. His work appears regularly in British newspapers (including The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and The Independent) and magazines (including Radio Times, Men's Health, Reader's Digest and many others).

Advertising work has included commissions from Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe Howard Spink, M&C Saatchi and Bartle Bogle Hegarty, for which he has won two Campaign Poster Awards and a D&AD award. Steve also writes a regular column and reviews for MacUser magazine.

Steve's work has been covered in feature articles in Creative Technology, What Digital Camera, Computer Arts and the Journal of Digital Photography, as well as in chapters in The New Mac Designer's Handbook by Alastair Campbell, and Digital Photography by Tom Ang. His first book, Icon Design, was published in 2001; he also co-wrote The Complete Guide to Digital Illustration (2003), as well as Max Pixel's Adventures in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 (2005). His non-computing titles are Dad Stuff and its US edition, Be the Coolest Dad on the Block (2005) and Stuff the Turkey, (2006).
