Interesting Problem...
Just thought I would share with you an interesting dilema I was given this afternoon.
Over the weekend a group photograph was taken with the obligatory guy with his eyes shut. I was asked if I could do anything to solve this.
I know Steve does a section on closing eyes but unless I have missed a chapter, I dont remember there being anything about opening them!
My solution -
I scoured loads of pics for some suitable eyes I could poach (not easy as the original pic I needed to fix was really High-Res and most of my stock looked pixelated!). Then I had to transform and blend to make them look "real".
Just wondered what you guys thought and also whether there is an easier solution??
Apologies to anyone who may read this Forum that is included in this pic, but be rest assured, love and attention has gone into it this afternoon

Well you've done a good job. I'm not sure what is the easy answer, perhaps I would have gone about it by using the Brush tool and physically drawn the eyes back in but then I have to be careful to ensure it looked realistic by the end. What resolution was this image at, I presume you've shrunk them down for the net?

Have a look here, they have a good selection of eye close-ups, most of which are at least 900 pixels..they're also completely free!

Re: Interesting Problem...
Excellent job, Tabitha, done with subtlety and restraint.

Is that Vladimir Putin second from the right? And can I see the ghost of Lenin hovering in the background?

Hey these days I'm hob-nobbing with the worlds heirachy.. last week Charlie & Camilla came to dig my garden and this week Mr Putin popped over to my house for a cuppa and a chat...

What can I say, my social skills are un-surpassed!
