Chapter 3 stage 10
Hi Steve, firstly congratulations on a fantastic book from which Ive learned heaps already.

On stage 10 of chapter 3 , what tool do you use to draw the outlines of the flag so once its deleted it reveals the red underneath to complete the flag.

Regards

Coley

Re: Chapter 3 stage 10
Coley,

I assume you're talking about the Major Color Changes tutorial! I used the Pen tool for this job, drawing carefully inside the white lines. It's a little tricky, since the red diagonals don't meet in the middle. But don't feel you have to follow this example exactly: you could put whatever you liked on the roof. The tutorial's just there to show how a particular problem was solved.

Welcome to the forum!

Steve

Or Hara-Kiri, even.

Practice, practice! Don't get suicidal again, the pen tool is a b*tch but it's like riding a bike; it has spokes and a chain and goes really fast down hill..errrm.....

Sorry, it must be a side effect of these antihistamine tablets I'm taking for analogy.

Wonky legs was a reference to my renovated desk image, I really should change it now.
