Label Competition - Closing Date 1/03/2005 (Dimensions UPDATED!)
OK so a chance to put some of the Photoshop skills to use. I produce home made hot sauce (chilli sauce if you like but I prefer to call it hot sauce), and produce my own labels etc… What I have attached (and probably across a couple of postings) are some of the labels that have been produced in the past and some which are current. The P45 and Foot in the Door sauce were done for family. From the picture of all the bottles you can see what the final product looks like. So the competition is as follows (details of the prize, oh yes a prize, at the end): I’m producing a new range of hot sauce, based on the Chipotle pepper giving it a nice smoky flavour. It also gives the sauce a darker colour. So I need a new label, let yourselves go wild. Print Dimensions: 90mm (h) 150mm (w) You need to leave about 10mm on each side for ingredients information etc… It must include JP's Hot Sauce on the label, and the word CHIPOTLE. I produce the sauce in 3 heats so need 3 labels; Mild, Medium Hot and Hot I also do a couple of extreme heat sauces so if you want to produce one of these then please do (you will get a bottle of extreme heat sauce with your label on if you win) Which does bring us onto the prize, a presentation pack of all 3 sauces from the new range and from the current Burning Bush range. As already mentioned if you submit and extreme heat label with your entry then you receive a bottle of that too. PS Remeber there are some colours you just can't print on an inkjet

This looks like a great competition, everyone - I'd recommend you have a go at it. The chance of getting your artwork on a real, paid-for product's too good to miss, surely? And as you can see, Pete's certainly up for some wacky ideas! |

I'm not sure whether I am submitting these too early as the closing date is not until 1st March, but my internet connection is being turned off next week when I move and I have no idea when I am going to get it up and running again. The joy of NTL!! I have taken the view of making it simple and easy to recognise the different levels of heat. I will add that I have had a total nightmare trying to create Mr Chilli!
