Steve, Just got the CS5 book as an upgrade to my CS3 version and the 3D section has impressed and fascinated me no end. Your repousse work including lathe modelling and inflating the beetle are something I have not seen demonstrated anywhere else and are quiet remarkable twists on the usual 3D lettering techniques. I realise I am a bit late in commenting given the age of the other posts but felt that the above plus the overhauls and new bits of the rest of the book and DVD sections does make this a must buy even for those of us who have recent editions. Pete, I would also like to say that I am very impressed with your repousse fish. If it's not too long in the past to remember would you be kind enough to post a brief tutorial on how you achieved it? Hi, I've just been watching the tutorial videos from the book and now realise that the technique to create the inflated repousse fish is one of Steve's tutorials ... What a plank I am! So, Pete if you do get to see my request for a tutorial please ignore it as I now know what to do. |

Steve, Just an FYI, I noticed the links on your "How to buy" page are still pointing to the CS4 book, not the CS5. Now I just need to upgrade to CS5.  |
