Challenge 279: Landlord needed
It's always tragic when a pub closes, especially this close to the festive season. It seems to leave a hole in the community. Do you think you can get this rather sad establishment up and running again in time for Christmas? High res is here. |

Jo your avatar is very cute..someone say turkey? Lol. I love your windows also. Vibeke – very realistic. For me, it difficult to tell that it is a montage. Nick – beautiful. The colour of the exterior is stunning and as always your lighting is terrific. Santa wasn’t always a chubby jolly fellow dressed in red. Carson joins Coca Cola to give Santa a makeover this week. Anyone interested in reading about the origins of Santa as we know him today…. http://www.thecoca-colacompany.com/heritage/cokelore_santa.html http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa164/tooquilos/?action=view¤t=santamakeoversmall.flv _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |

With Copenhagen in the news lately, I naturally thought of Hans Christian Anderson. Here's my interpretation of "The Little Match Girl." _________________ I aim to give pause. |

I can feel a pub crawl coming on ... Nick, the pattern on the big windows are actually from a genuine image of etched glass - Brewell, I love your snow effect but someone please give that poor girl a cup of cocoa - hang on is that angels singing I hear ? _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Re: Challenge 279: Landlord needed
Thanks, Josephine. I had a pretty good snow layer, but when I walked away and came back, it looked like paint spatters to me. My big idea was to copy the snow layer and enlarge the copy 200 - 300 percent. Now there's bigger fuzzier snowflakes close to the viewer. And about those angels. . . you must have jumped ahead to the end of the story. _________________ I aim to give pause. |
