Challenge 729: Spooky time
There's no ignoring it, and it has been seeping into your images for the last couple of weeks: Halloween is upon us. This year's task is to take this extraordinarily creepy doll, photographed for us by DavidMac, and use it as the centrepiece for your creation. You'll have to deal with the reflections too, of course, perform a tricky cut-out, replace the hidden left foot and remove the label - all the things David would have complained about if I had photographed this... Excellent David. I like the way the cat simultaneously shows the doll's size, gives meaning to her reaching hand, and brings a sense of serenity to the picture. |

I'm getting rather fond of this odd little creature ....... 
Monday the electricians arrive to completely re-wire our workroom so computers and everything have to be stripped out tomorrow - so this is definitely my last entry this week. I don't know why on earth I didn't think of this before, but I just zoomed in on the label, took the manufacturers name, and did some research. Oh WOW!! 
Here you will find companions for her in every conceivable shape and form ....... and quite possibly some inconceivable too .......... Sadly today we are re-installing our workroom after the electricians and we leave early tomorrow morning for a long drive into France for a few days so I can't take advantage of this myself. They also do a downloadable catalogue with some reasonable image sizes. To those of you tempted to say 'Of course. I already thought of it. Been there.
