Challenge 867: Landguard Fort
Landguard Fort, just outside Felixstowe on the Suffolk coast, was built in the 18th century, replacing a fort that had successfully repelled a Dutch invasion in 1667. It was remodelled over the years, and last saw active service as a Cold War outpost in the 1950s. Among the many rooms in this historic building is this barrack scene. Of course, it looks a little sterile without anyone to occupy it. Can you bring it to life? High res is here. |

Oberleutnant Sinclair has instructed me to deal with this in my own inimitable way! |

Steve, the dreadful perspective of your photo suggests you are (once again) using your Kodak Brownie 127. |

Re: Challenge 867: Landguard Fort
I take all the FC images on my iPhone, because that’s the camera I always have with me. Usually I stand back and use the 2x camera because that has less of a wide angle view, and so greatly reduces the distortion. This room was so small I wasn’t able to use that camera and had to use the regular one. |

I know you don't do it on purpose, Steve. This distortion has provided me with an especially difficult and interesting challenge. I have made the room bigger and am now struggling to fit things/people into it in a way which looks natural. |

Yes it will quickly get extreme if you extend it far. But that can get interesting or can be just bizarre. I have a lot on this week. I shall look in from time to time bit not be participating. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

A room with a view. The pussy cat on the sofa is my far-too-long-departed Geoffrey. _________________ If at first you don't succeed then skydiving is not for you. |
