It was easy time - enjoying myself. I had a feeling the clean simplicity of the last would appeal to you. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

David - glad you're enjoying yourself and yes a lot of work A + E = nice but obvious and therefore doesn't work as well D = Doesn't work for me The rest All work for me H = Favorite |

Thanks Loyd and Mariner - been a quiet X-mas so a little time to play. Moreover that damned Covid is on a rampage again making it risky to venture too far from home. Stay Safe All |

Yes I go along with that Frank. Certainly A + E are the least interesting in my view. D was a tricky perspective to pull off but the blend is not so good. H is in my top three. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

http://vimeo.com/660304724 Happy and healthy 2022 everyone. Some absolutely stunning entries this week. Difficult to choose a favourite, but if I had to..I'd go for David's sunrise/set. It's beautiful. Loyd's roman numerals one is terrific. Your series of city scapes, David are very well done. I struggled to find 2022 in F but eventually got it! _________________ Wicked Witch of the West: I'm melting! I'm melting! |

Yes! Took me by surprise too. Glad you liked the sunrise. I was not at all confident about it. Yes City F is quite furtive. I rather like that. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 888: Happy IYOG 2022
Frank somehow I missed your animation. It's really great! My kind of guitar playing too. Loyd the roman numerals are really lovely. Ant - Fibre optics! That gives me the horrors. I worked with miles of them on the Millennium Dome many years ago. Absolute nightmare! This is absolutely my last city posting. I didn't post with the others because I hadn't quite pulled it off. It was so much hard work I finally decided to post anyway. Londoners will recognise this Fitzrovia landmark. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Long before Steve proposed this challenge I created Ingrids's and my 2022 New Year Card. Rather than clog up this challenge any more than I already have, I have posted it in the Gallery here. Probably best that any replies are posted there too _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Thanks David and your last entry did pull it off - a lot of work I would say and quite imaginative. |

Frank, Loyd, and Anna, nice work David ( Gold Star winner) what a spectacular collection but they all lack something: ...Self-deprecation! The first image is the original image, and the second is the adjusted animation. |

Very nice Michael, I really like the weathered look. It is also proof that 'great minds think alike'. I too have a water reflected version... |
