Challenge 925: The dinner party
I photographed this room at the Museum of East Anglian Life, and a fine setting it is - despite the fact that the diners seem to be served descriptions of their meals, rather than actual food. Can you populate this scene with an appropriate cast of diners? High res is here. |

Fun entries coming in quickly today. I haven't quite pulled this off but, thinking sort of upside down, who would serve descriptions on beige paper? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

If you have seen this you will understand why I seem to have paper on the brain this week. This time who would eat a paper meal. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Most forum members don't know that I am one of four identical quads. Every year we celebrate with a dinner party. Here we are awaiting the arrival of the rest of our guests. _________________ Have you ever noticed that all the instruments designed to detect intelligent life are pointing away from the Earth? |

What fun...! I remember your last version of the 'quads'. The photo of you and 'furry friend' in this one really completes this overall image... well done Gordon! |

Back again after losing power for 5 days - other than a few trees fared reasonably well thru Fiona - unfortunately some did not but my immediate neighbourhood was somewhat spared. True love there indeed Gordon. David, love the paper characters. Ant - nice job, Peaky Blinders - loved that show. Josephine, agree, for some Spam is it given this crazy inflation. Loyd, nice quickie, reminds me of an old friend of mine who had a Great Dane ( stood as his high as the table) - ate 7 raw Porterhouse steaks while Carl was out lighting the BBQ. Steve, this one required a lot of work and assembly indeed. |

http://vimeo.com/756223729 I don't know what it is about this challenge but dogs were the only thing on my mind as well! Aww, Gordon, the way you're looking at each other is pure love. Glad to hear all is well, Frank. From what I saw on the news, it looked shocking. _________________ Dorothy: Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore |

Re: Challenge 925: The dinner party
Frank, a friend many years ago had an Irish Setter... while at work the dog knocked a slow-cooker off the countertop and ate a complete beef roast... it was only amusing because the dog licked every bit of the liquid from the floor leaving it totally clean... Anna - really nice, great work. |
