The Simpsons will never seem the same again, Anna. Good as always.

Nice banner, too.

Gaoxiguo, Very funny, great idea! Wonderfully funny as always Anna, I don't know how you do it all and so quickly. Can I ask how you did the lettering?

Re: Challenge 323: Land of liberty
Sophie, I really like your image. I think you have orientated the statue just right with respect to the sun direction and I love the patches of sand you have dotted around Liberty's body, they seem so realistic. I am afraid that I cannot comment on the shadows as I find these difficult but they do seem to be going in the right direction. The humour of the seagull and guano is a nice touch ... but shouldn't there be a shadow under the gull?
Cheers
Vern

Anna, I just watched your video and loved it. The Planet of the Apes musical Simpsons was always one of my favourites alongside The Springfield Files and Cape Feare. Thanks for the fun.

Thank you Gordon Soph and Vern!! I don't think a day goes by in my life that I don't make some type of reference to the Simpsons. The level of identifying with them scares me sometimes

Some very entertaining work this week. Gaoxiguo, so original and funny. Really excellent.

Great as always Anna

Sophie, the sand blown onto the statue is really well done.

Don't worry Sophie - nobody looks at shadows or so I keep telling myself .... I also love the powdery sand effect - I tried that on an earlier attempt but mine was nowhere near as convincing.

We are all cooking with gas this week !

Do you think that you might be taking this Marge Simpson thing just a little too far Anna?

I shamelessly borrowed Deja-vu's global warming idea. Thank you.

oh, I really love this one. The innocence of the child building the statue with sand... wonderful
