Re: Welcome!
Hi steve Having just recently purchased your book, its a little annoying to find when we spoke you didnt mention the new release if I had waited a couple of months I could have got the latest version. It reminds me of buying Photoshop 6 classroom in a book only to find not long after version 7 is released. still we learn a little each day. best wishes for the new book. |

Re: Welcome!
Thanks for your comments, Keith. You can always wait for a new edition, a new system version, the next upgrade, a more attractive girlfriend. But you've got to jump in at some point, eh? The new edition won't be out until January at the earliest, so you've got a good three months' worth of this one first! Steve |

Re: Welcome!
Hello to all Steve, I love the book! I am hoping to use it as a guide to stepping up to the next level in Photoshop. My previous efforts have been for evening classes in Digital Imaging, and we barely touched on Photomontage. I've spent some time browsing through the brilliant Friday challenge images. Well done to everybody. Perhaps, when my confidence grows, I may submit an image myself. Meanwhile I'll keep browsing... Wayne |

Re: Welcome!
Thanks, Wayne - glad you're enjoying the book. As I've said many times before, don't feel you have to be of any "acceptable standard" in order to enter the Friday Challenges! It's about improving your own skills, rather than competing with others. Send in your work, and we'll help you to make it better! Steve |

Re: Welcome!
Hi Steve - I love the book and the website - this is the inspiration I have been looking for. I have spent money on other books that have either been badly written, or worse, full of mistakes. There is nothing worse than spending a valuble afternoon off work infront of the computer trying an excercise only to find that the final image is wrong because the author has forgotten a vital instruction! (I won't name the offending books here of course!) HTCAP is brilliant - I wish I had picked it up sooner, already I have learnt so much (and there is still alot of the book to read!). Thankyou for making PS a joy to play with. BB |

Re: Welcome!
Picked up this book a couple of months back. It has been my main Photoshop book since. Used a lot of the techniques in my website. I'm learning something new everyday. Thanks! |

Re: Welcome!
Hi Steve ! I bought the book and I get it in 2 weeks here in Israel. Now I know how much I don't know, it's time to learn. I love the side, specialy the chalenges, it's a little complicated to to find out my way in the side, but I am shure that I will learn how to use all the fetures that this side offers to me Micky |

Welcome!
Hi, I just got the How to cheat book yesterday. I got Photoshop Cs5 and a wacom tablet for Christmas. The book is probably a little over my head at the moment. I've been doing online tutorials and learning a wee bit. Looking at the various books on the shelf at Barnes & Noble yesterday I picked yours because it is so beautifully organized. And with all the lovely colored pix. I'm going to just start at the first part and see what I can make of it. Very excited about this.
