How do I get a DVD for the Kindle version (iPad) that I downloaded from Amazon of the latest book "How to cheat in Photoshop cs5"? |

At present, you can't. I know, it's a real pain, but the Kindle version simply doesn't come with the DVD, even though it's stated on the Amazon page that it does. I'm in an ongoing discussion with the publishers about this - I think it's essential that the content should be available for download for Kindle readers, but that hasn't happened yet. The other problem with the Kindle edition, as you'll discover, is that I wrote the whole book in double page spreads, with the steps reading across the spread rather than down each page. As the Kindle only displays single pages, you'll find you're zipping back and forth between consecutive pages all the time in order to read the steps in the correct sequence. I really wish they hadn't just gone ahead and published the Kindle version without thinking about it first. All that happens is I get complaints from readers about it. Until we can work out what to do about this, please accept my apologies. |
