Layer Adjustment in PS CC
Hi, In Photoshop CC 2014 (October update and the previous version as well) it is not possible to create a new adjustment layer (in layers panel) while pressing ALT. In Photoshop CS6 a dialog box would appear where you could choose how to affect the layer beneath. Is that no longer possible to acomplish in CC 2014? thanks Happy Christmas! |

Hi Vicho, Sorry I can't be of any help. I never made an adjustment layer the way you have described. I always went the long way round up to Layer - New Adjustment etc. If you do it that way the box is still there asking how you want the layer to interact with the previous layers. |

Hi Vichio Works just fine for me. Immediately comes up with the appropriate dialog, the creates new layer. |

Deborah, you are right, using the Menu Layer-> Adjustment works great as usual. But pressing ALT while clicking the Adjustment layer icon in the Layerīs palette was a shortcut I used on a daily basis to get the same result. Matt, Iīm afraid itīs not working anymore...I tried in two different computers and it didnīt work. Perhaps it is a Windows issue..are you working wiht a Mac? |

Dialogue box appears just fine on CC 2014.2.1 on Mac Just tried it on the Work PC (via log me in) It's running Windows 7 with CC 2014.1.0 and ALT works on that one too. Dialogue pops up as expected. |
