where is the source?
I am here at school so I do not know the exact warning that it gives, but when I try using the healing tool it brings up a message saying i need to specify the soure. This has done this with another tool before, but I can't remember what one. Do you know how to stop this or how to specify it?

You need to set the source that the tool is using to sample from. For instance if you're healing an imperfection, it needs to know where you want to sample from to replace the "bad stuff". Just click your cursor over the area that you'd like to sample from while holding the alt key and then paint away the problem.

Hope that helps!

Exactly, Brian, it works in the same way as the clone stamp - the patch tool is another matter entirely

Have you read the article on the front page? Let me know if this doesn't work and I'll see what I can do to help.
