Perspective
A newbie question here.... I'm trying to fit two photos together taken from different heights. The first is a landscape taken from a height of about 5.5 feet and the other is a group of people taken from much higher - we are all looking up to someone on a ladder, maybe 8 or so feet up. (My entry in the fox hunting challenge gives a clue as to what the landscape is, although it was taken with a far newer camera...  )
Anyway, is there anything that can be done or would such differences be that noticeable, given that there aren't a lot of visible clues to what the proper scale in the landscape really is? |

It would help if you could show us the images, perhaps low-res versions which you can post here. But it may just be a case of raising the horizon in the landscape pic. _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |

in the small hollow in the front 
It looks like it should work - what do you think? Should I hide some feet behing the ridge (and definitely behind some rocks). Thanks, |

Think this could work dependant on the scale, for example if the group shot was to fit in the lower third of the landscape shot it might just trick the eye into believing they fit together, however if you were to use 1:1 scalling (I'm assuming that the two pictures are the same size) then it would look odd as the Horizon is far too low in the landscape picture.

Yes, I was planning on shrinking the group to about a third or a half of the current size. |
