Layers palette icon ?
Chapter 3, page 64, Layer masks 3: soft edges, third sequence requires "hold alt and click on the icon in the Layers palette..." Which icon is being referred to? |

The layer icon! The thumbnail of the layer you're working on. And it's the ctrl key, not alt! |

Thank you Steve. I was unaware that the layer could also be referred to as an icon. I'm learning. Yes, I was aware that it is ctrl but my fingers forgot when typing. |

No problem. I should really stick to calling it a thumbnail, but I expect my fingers forgot as well! |
