Changing startup image
This really isn't a photoshop question it's more of a program manipulation question.

Is there any way I can change the image that pops up when Photoshop opens? I just wanted to add something different.

Thanks in advance.

Jon

I don't mean having a default image when photoshop opens, I mean the dialog(?) box that opens up as soon as photoshop is run. It quickly goes away when photoshop is ready to use.

You mean the splash screen. I don't think there's an easy way to change it. I suppose, if you search Google, you may find a method. Is it worth the effort though?

Yeah that's it....the splash screen. Thanks.

I did google it and came across this.........

http://photoshoptechniques.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-6709.html

Scroll down a few messages and it tells you exactly how to do it. It's slightly more than just renaming a picture file but it is a piece of cake to do. Now all I need to do is find a suitable image to use.

Thanks for the suggestion.
