via keyboard?
Does anyone know if there is a keyboard way to enter/change crop width and height, rather than having to use the mouse?

I'll go out on a limb here and say no, as you would somehow have to define by the keyboard where on the screen you want to draw the 4 crop lines.

Re: via keyboard?
You can enter the size and resolution you wish to crop to in the tool options bar at the top before you drag with the mouse. Then the crop area will be constrained to those proportions, which is ideal if you are cropping for a set print size. When entering size values, suffix the number with 'in', 'cm', 'mm' or 'px' to specify inches, centimetres, milimetres or pixels respectively. Click on 'clear' afterwards to return to normal.

I hope that's what you meant!

Re: via keyboard?
Thanks for your help but no what I meant was is if the size values already entered in the options could be increased or decreased using the keyboard. For example say 300 px x 400 px is entered, I was thinking that maybe with the keyboard there might be a way to change those number values. I tried the arrow keys and the + and - and doesn't work. I guess it's just not possible. I was just curious because so many other functions in Photoshop can be handled by the keyboard.

Re: via keyboard?
You could use the trim command. Set a shorcut to trim in the edit menu.

A dialoge could be created using javascripting, or applescripting form apps.

Would the trim command via keyboard allow to change the crop size dimensions entered without having to use the mouse?? I'm not familiar with trim.

Re: via keyboard?
The trim command is kind of an odd command. It is designed to trim the outer edges of an image by trimming the surrounding transparent pixes, or background pixels of a specific color. You can trim transparent pixels at the edge, or select the color of the top left pixel, or the bottom right pixel. From there, you select which edge you want trimmed away. If you select transparent, the transparent pixels will be stripped away, and the image will be trimmed as far as the transparent pixels leaving an image with non-transparent pixels. Color will trim based on the color of the pixels matching the selected color.

Oh ok, I do remember that Trim command after all. Thanks for refreshing me on its use but my question was about whether or not the crop dimensions could be changed with keyboard. Sort of like you can use [ and ] to increase/decrease brush size, I thought there might be a way to do the same with the crop dimensions entered for height and width, but I guess not. Not a big deal, was just curious.
