A little confused with loading paths....
Hey, I recently got "How To Cheat In Photoshop CS3 Fourth Edition" and I'm a little confused.

I had dabbled in photoshop prior to getting the book, and I have never heard of the term "Loading a path" which is used in the book a few times (specifically pgs 106 and 82). The book says that the pen selections are saved in the photoshop file and that I should load them, but I do not know how to do this. Can anybody explain it to me?

Hi DsCs3L,

Welcome to the forum.

When you make a selection with the pen, a path is created. Look for the "Paths" tab over by your in the pallet with your "Layers" pallet. If you can't find it, go to the menu, select window, and then select paths. When you have the Paths tab visible, you will see three items. (Assuming that you are page 106 of the book). Control Click in the gray box to the left of the label. This will "Load the Path" into a selection. You will then see the marching ants around the selection that you just made.

Dave.

Hi guys an even easier way to load a path into selection is to press cmd and Return on the mac (ctrl and Enter on the pc)
