Natural Selection: "Lock and Load"
I can't seem to get one step of this process right. I'm fairly used to working with layers and selections, yet the "Queen of hearts, Jack of Diamonds" piece had me handcuffed. Is there a setting I need to do or undo? 1. "Let's load up the Queen of Hearts layber by holding ctrl (sorry, pc user for now!) and clicking on the thumbnail in the Layers palette. The outlines show that area selected" Ok, I did it twenty times, and still....NO outline. What am I doing (or NOT doing) correctly? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

hey, no need to respond, I was clicking the FONT "queen" and not the actual THUMBNAIL!!! Yes, I'm an IDIOT!!! Thanks though, I'm sure I'll need help sometime next chapter too!  |

Thanks!! Love the book...it's been really helpful so far at sharpening my fundamentals. I can't wait to get into the deeper stuff that I've never thought of trying! |

Take part in the Friday Challenge - it's a good way to improve your skills, by giving you tasks you wouldn't normally have thought of taking on. No minimum standard requirement - all welcome, seriously. |
