Papyrus Font
I really enjoy looking at other people's designs and graphics work, but (like most designers) it drives me nuts when I see a badly used font. I think almost all designers, professionals and amateurs alike, know just how hard it is too make the famous 'Papyrus' font actually look GOOD.
Long story short, I had a friend who asked me to help her with a project, but the problem was, she absolutely insisted that I use Papyrus. The end result looked awful (in my opinion anyway).
That being over and done with, I would like to see how other people use / have used this particular font or have seen it used, and what you think of it. Suggestions for using this font in the future would also be useful. Thanks! _________________ Taylour |

Hi Taylour, I use Papyrus in just about everything I type. I absolutely love it. Its an elegant but legible font. Anna |

Er.... sorry, Anna, but I'm afraid I'm with Taylour on this one. Still, personal choice and all that... |

Awwww poor Papyrus. It has a bad image by the sounds of it
I do like it though..it resembles my handwriting (when I write neatly)

At least it's not as bad as Comic Sans! That font has never looked good. Anywhere. |

I agree, Comic Sans is another difficult one to use. _________________ Taylour |

I can understand that it would be difficult to get away with using for something like an obituary but it's ideal for speech bubbles. |
