I can't see the Paint brush cursor so I can't tell how wide my brush is?
I've tried going to "edit>preferences>display & cursors" and tried changing the cursor options there but nothing happens. I would like to do some selections in quick mask mode or some painting but I have no idea how big the brush is? |

Hi Charles, For some unknown reason, my paintbrush disappears from time to time but if I press CTRL and CAPS LOCK at same time, it reappears. Hope this helps. Anna
Edit...sorry Charles...SHIFT and CAPS LOCK |

Just to elucidate The Caps Lock key will always turn a sized brush cursor into crosshairs, for those who need accuracy without seeing the size. It's possible your computer might have got confused over the Caps Lock state (or, indeed, you might have it on accidentally) in which case Anna's solution may well unstick it. |

Ahhh Thank you Steve. Could never understand why it happened. I cant tell you how many times I have rebooted because of this. Then one time I read somewhere what you need to do but there was no explanation. |

I am sometimes zoomed in and forget how big the brush is. After some time, I eventually realise that the cursor is still there, just larger than the screen! Alan |
