Beginning Photoshop
I know this probably sounds really dumb to most photoshop users but, is there a proper basic procedure for loading images into documents and the layers windows. _________________ coni |

Not that I know of - I use Open or Open As.. or just Cut and Paste into Photoshop even just drag the image into Photoshop or into layers. That's the beauty of Photoshop there are a million and one ways to skin a cat. |

Hi Coni In 'My Pictures' or a folder in Explorer, you can right click on an image thumbnail and select 'Open with'. Choose PS from the drop down list. Nick |

also, within an opened document, you can choose File>Place |

If you are viewing photos from Bridge, just double click the image and it will open in Photoshop. |
