problem with car window
I hope someone can help me. I photographed a wedding last year and I have pictures of the bridesmaids and the bride getting into a stretched limo. They like the pictures, but have asked if I can remove the logo from the back window (it is an advert for the stretched limo company). This is self adhesive plastic lettering on the back window of the car. The window is heavily tinted (almost black) and I thought it would be fairly easy to just pop a new "window" over the old one on a new layer by selecting the area and filling with a darkish grey and using a bit of dodge and burn, even adding a fake reflection of some houses and sky with a slight blur, but it just doesn't look convincing at all. Any suggestions? All advice greatly appreciated - if all else fails, I will photogrpah another car window and paste it in _________________ rob_stroud@yahoo.co.uk |

Re: problem with car window
Hi Rob It would help to see the image, or the offending portion if that's possible. If the logo is small enough, then the patch tool or clone may provide the answer. Nick |

Another suggestion would be to select and cut a section of window near the logo with similar color and reflection and paste if over the logo., then blend it in. |
