Problem with chapter 1 ..
Hi everyone, this is my first time in the forum, I apologize for my mistakes in english, I'm spanish and sometimes I use the translator. My problem is very basic, it is the first chapter of the book, which I test with the image of the wheel but the keyboard shortcuts will not move or copied the selection. The book speaks of the modifier key, it is ALT? because if not, I don't know what is... I guess it's a silly question, but I had never used any photoshop, cs4 is the first to learn to use. Thanks in advance! |

Hello Iris, The modifier key is Alt, but you have to make sure you have a selection - as in seeing the 'marching ants', and that you have made a selection on a layer where there is something there; and if you are using the marquee or lasso tool that the tool is set correctly in the top bar. If this is not where shown by the arrow, different things will happen! Hope this helps  |

Hi Iris, Be also sure you have the right layer selected. As a rule if you are not getting any response with your image, double check you have the right layer selected. |
