PS CS4 WIndows: Layers pallet is always hidden.
Hi. I don't know what I have done but whenever I start up PS CS4 my layers pallet is closed. I have to double click on the Layers tab to make it show. This does not last and next time I run PS it's hiding again. I have tried selecting another workspace then back to ESSENTIALS but it doesn't fix it. What do I need to click on to make it always appear? Below is an image of how it always start up. Come to think of it my ADJUSTMENTS is also closed. On the PC at work these are both visible all the time. ![]() |

Did you try adjusting the pallets the way you want them and then save it as a workspace? I would try that without opening any documents, close PS and then reopen PS. |

Thanks Steve. It works if I do that, but I have to choose that workspace each time it starts up. It must be something I have done to cause this ![]() |

Paul, have you tried...have you tried the obvious? Selecting CS4 default settings and then proceeding from there.

Thanks Michael. I just tried that and it appears to have put things right. |
