problem loading...
First off...Happy New Year! I need help! Can't find it in forum...I just bought the book "ART AND DESIGN in PHOTOSHOP. The CD WILL NOT LOAD. I have the new version of photoshop for MAC AND cs 4 for MAC. What am I doing wrong? I have tried everything that I know. |

Not sure if this will help or not. But go into System Preferences> CD's & DVD's and chose from the drop down what you want the disk to do when it is loaded.  _________________ Mark Goodwin If you do what you have always done, you'll get what you've always got! |

Thanks but the disc is a CD-rom for downloading not to watch. it has files that you are suppose to load into photoshop. I was able to load the brush and fonts but the layers won't load anywhere in either photoshop. |

Not sure how you are referring to layers. I think of layers as part of an image and usually not seen a separate item.. |

When you see the disk on your desktop, double click to open. Once open, double click to open the chosen folder, in the folders you will see an RTF file, open this in a text editor and it will explain how to load the files you want. Below is a cut and paste from the Layer Styles folder. Custom layer styles To use these styles, open the Layer Styles palette in Photoshop. From the pop-up menu in the top right, choose Load Styles, and select the file A&D styles.asl in this folder. The styles will appear in your Layer Styles palette, after all your existing styles. It sounds to me like this could be a problem with the CD itself - this happens occasionally. If you contact Focal Press they'll send you a replacement. Contact details are here. |
