Pen Tool Outline Color
Certainly there must be some way - which I have not yet discovered ... though diligently having searched - to change the pen tool outline color of a selected area from the drab/delicate white/grey (whatever) one to a more easily visable one. (A change to a high RED might be a good starting point!) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Pen Tool Outline Color
Hank, as I understand it can't be done according to discussions and inputs from Adobe, even in CS5. Others have same frustration as you. I'm sure you've read some of the discussions with your searches. Not much work seems to have been done after the pen tools conception. I reckon, from IT perspective, it could be a small($s) product enhancement to add the option, after all it exists with other features. |

Re: Pen Tool Outline Color
Thanks heaps! I suspected what you mentioned was the case after searching, fruitlessly, for an outline color change facility. (One can easily change the color of the guidelines!) I am using CS5, and fully agree that a relatively simple addendum should be made to the pen tool so that the outline could be more easily visable. Perhaps CS6 (if they name it that) will feature this facility, but ... I won't hold my breath! (lol!!) I appreciate your time in response to me on this issue, Trevor, and now know that I do not stand alone in a frustration with this issue. Later ... and have a great day! Hank |
