Saturated colours in Arthur Evans Challenge
I have been admiring the images produced in this Challenge - especially the saturated colours on the clothing. How do you get them like that? When I tried to paint onto the image using colour mode I got wishy-washy pastel colours. Some other modes were better but none gave the results shown. I'd love to know how it was done TIA _________________ Man cannot change the direction of the wind but he can adjust the sails |

For myself I muck around in levels, contrast, color balance and hue/saturation until I get what I want _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Make your selection in your preferred way, on a new layer fill with colour and then just change the mode to Hard Light. You may want to lower the opacity a bit. Hope it works for you! |

Re: Saturated colours in Arthur Evans Challenge
Hi Deborah and Josephine - this is the result of my practice. Lots of selection errors but I now know how to achieve the saturated colours I wanted. Thank you very much ![]() _________________ Man cannot change the direction of the wind but he can adjust the sails |
