Dragon Skys
For some time now I have thought about doing a montage of castle with a Welch dragon forming out of a dramatic clouds above. I have had a few attempts with varying success but nothing I am really happy with. Any suggestions on a method to use? I have tried adding a dragon layer and experimenting with blend modes and a cloud type brush.

Not offhand but a Friday challenge might inspire some different ideas.

I'd find some suitable clouds, and use the Smudge tool to smear them into a dragon shape. But as Frank says, this could be Friday Challenge material... have you found the right castle?

Re: Dragon Skys
I have plenty of sky photos if can help?

Not what you want, but here is 1/3rd of a frieze I took in China. Amazing sculpture details. When make dragons, by tradition you need to include the pearl...... You can see it here. And the phoenix maybe.

The Welsh dragon quite different of course, or is it.

Hi All, Thanks for your suggestions. This was one of my attempts but I was looking for a more realistic cloud like form. This isn’t actually a Welch castle but one in my home town of Newark. I like your frieze Jota and may give it a go. I am thinking blur, distort and blend mode might do it??

And this was the original photo should you want to throw it open as a Friday Challenge. If so I have a high Res copy I could send, just let me know. Thanks again.
