key
I cannot figure out one of the keys used in your book. The first instance is on page 5 , #1. The key is the first red MAC key...sort of looks like a skewed Z with a minus sign in the upper right corner. Can't find this on my keyboard...or my husband's...or my friend's. What is it? |

Re: key
Pam, That key is what used to be known as the Option key, and still is in most circles. The trouble is that these days, for some reason, Apple choose not to write Option on it - they put either 'alt' or that symbol instead. All recent keyboards have at least that symbol on it, so you must be using an incredibly old Mac! Hope you can find it OK now, and enjoy the book Steve |

Re: key
Thanks for clarifying...This must be an British thing. I have a G-4, and there is no symbol on my keyboard like that. I have an option/alt key. I've worked in several ad agencies, and it's the same with their keyboards. Thanks anyway...I'll use the option key!!! |
