pen tool
I'm trying to draw the path around the cup but my curves are being filled in with the background color. In toolbar -edit-fill on -I can't see an option to not fill. I've tried the photoshop help but couldn't find an answer. Can you help? Also is there perhaps a very basic book covering an introduction to photoshop which might help me so I don't have to keep emailing the forum for small problems. |

Carol, This is easy to fix. Your Pen tool is currently set to create a new Shapes layer rather than a path. Choose the second icon in the row of three on the far left of the Options bar, and you'll get a path. Don't really know of any suitable books - but do feel free to post any problems you like here!
