Natural Healing
Hi Steve Am struggling with steps 5-6 on page 65. Could you please explain how you selected the odd shape on her cheek using the rectangular tool and then what exactly did you do with the Magic Wand? Then, when returning to the Healing bruch, how does it "know" not to include areas outside the selection? thanks....becky |

Becky, Steve just used the rectangular marquee to make a rectangle covering that part of her face AND some of the white background. Then he used the magic wand set to "subtract from selection" to remove the white background. This left the shape that shows on page 65. When you make any selection the healing brush is effective only inside it. Hope this helps Wendy |

Yes, Wendy's got it exactly right. Becky, when you use the Magic Wand, hold the alt key as you click in the white background and it will subtract that area from the rectangular selection. You remember, all that selection stuff we did in Chapter 1. |
