Caps Lock "Locked" in Photoshop
Somehow, I've managed to have Photoshop only display characters in all caps when I create an new text layer and start typing. I can't seem to get lowercase letters when I type. Even when I push shift, letter. I know caps lock is off because it's normal in any other program. |

Have a look in the Character palette. At the bottom of the palette is a row of squares. The one with TT in creates all Caps text. Try clicking on this square to uncheck it. Hope this works, if not I'm stumped! |

Yes, I often get tripped up by that one. You change it for a particular job, and it sticks. Worth setting up a Tool Preset to reset the Text tool to, say, 12pt Helvetica lower case, perhaps. |

Perfect! Thanks guys, that fixed the problem. I really wanted to change the case and font on my last revision to the Friday Challenge...but that would make too many submissions. At least I can now type in Photoshop correctly! ![]() --Chris |
