Putting a sheen (gloss) to new paintwork.
The latest challenge requires a new paint job, done but lacking luster. My attempts to put some life into it are to no avail, assistance required please. |

Try this: duplicate the van, and add colour using Hue/Saturation (check the Colorize button, and lower the brightness). Then the clever bit: change the mode of the duplicated layer to Hard Light. Much stronger! |

Thank you Steve. The colouring part of the instruction works fine, but changing the mode has no obvious effect. I must be missing something, I'll keep trying. |
