Putting a sheen (gloss) to new paintwork.
The latest challenge requires a new paint job, done but lacking luster. My attempts to put some life into it are to no avail, assistance required please.

Try this: duplicate the van, and add colour using Hue/Saturation (check the Colorize button, and lower the brightness). Then the clever bit: change the mode of the duplicated layer to Hard Light. Much stronger!

Thank you Steve. The colouring part of the instruction works fine, but changing the mode has no obvious effect. I must be missing something, I'll keep trying.
