skin replacement...
I havent went through all the book yet. I am currently working my way through transformation techniques. I am wandering though is there a chapter further on that would teach the technique of "skin replacement" ie Changing the skin of a dog to a zebra or vice versa? I have seen this done before and looks really good. Thanks for all views and repies. Regards |

Depends quite how accurate you want to be. If it's a white dog, then paint stripes in QuickMask mode - set the brush to Dissolve mode to roughen up the edges. Exit QuickMask, and use Curves or Levels to darken it. If you want to map an actual zebra's skin onto the dog, that's a little trickier. Again, with a white dog, you could set the zebra skin mode to Multiply, distort it so it fits approximately, and then use a layer mask to make a more accurate fit. Tell you what - if you have images in mind, then post them and we'll give it a go. |

mmmmm..... Thanks for that Steve. Your (Bible) book is great. I am taking my time with it. Working through it at my own pace. I will give your suggestions a try. But just to add to my first question. No image in mind just now but will post back when the time is right. I just wandered if the book covered something likw this? Regards. |
