3rd ed, page 22 "Lock and Load" does neither
Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I'm new to this... On the example with the cards on p 22, it says to hold CTRL and lcick the name for the Queen layer in the layers palette. But the Queen layer is already selected when I open the file. When I follow the further instructions I select or deselect the layers, but that's it. I can't draw on them as PS tells me I have multiple layers selected. What am I doing wrong? |

I'm guessing you're using Photoshop CS2/CS3 and a previous edition of the book. Clicking on the name now lets you to multi-select the layers. You need to click the thumbnail instead.
