circular text for disk
I am trying to write circular text for a dvd. I wish to avoid the warp tool as it is a bit fiddly.
I have been trying the following and can't understand why it does not work. can anyone please advise me.
Using the epplipital markee tool (holding the shift key) I draw a circle, then go on to paths, make work path with a tolerance of 2.0
by hovering the text tool over the path it changes to a wiggle and I can then put in the text. I assumed by selecting layers and then the free transform tool I could alter the size of the text but all that alters is the path. Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Re: circular text for disk
Make sure that you deselect the path by clicking in the space below in the paths palette before using the free transform. It should then work okay.

Or you can alter the size of the text directly by dragging over the text with the Text Tool until it is highlighted, then changing the font size in the Tool Options Bar.

You can also double-click the text layer's thumbnail in the layers palette.

Re: circular text for disk
You'd be much better off drawing the initial circle with the Shapes tool, set to Path mode, rather than tracing a selection!
