3D Transform Filter...CS3
This is probably just something simple I've failed to grasp, but where does one find the "3D Transform Filter" needed for the tutorial on page 330 of the 4th Edition of 'How To Cheat...'? It is not in the Goodies Folder on the CS3 Design Premium CD, nor was it installed by default of course. Perhaps this transform is done differently in CS3??...............frank |

Re: 3D Transform Filter...CS3
Well, it seems that, at the last minute, Adobe dropped the 3D Transform filter from CS3. I've just checked, and the 3D Transform filter that shipped with CS2 (and earlier) won't work in CS3, at least on my system. Sorry about this, Frank. Can't think why they dropped such a useful tool. Steve |

Re: 3D Transform Filter...CS3
Thanks very much for the info, Steve. At least now I know I'm not 'going crazy'...at least not yet! Absolutely superb book, by the way. I've been using Photoshop for over 10 years, and have gone through more than my share of books, but I can say, without a bit of hesitation, your book is definitely the best yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed every page, and even with some experience behind me, have learned many 'new' and useful techniques, and refreshed my memory of others. Wonderful book; thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, and all the best both now and in the future..................frank |
