Totally dumb question
Is there any way, once you have posted an image, realised it is not right; edited the image out, to put a new image in that post? rather than having to repost it?

Re: Totally dumb question
If you post the image as an attachment then you can edit it by changing the image name of the original saved file (add a 1 or 2 at the end of the image name is what I usually do) then edit the original post. If you post the image as a link (such as I usually do from photobucket) you can save the edited image in photobucket (or wherever you link your pics) and do the same as above. then just edit your post in here with the new link name at your original post. Then you don't have to post an edited picture.

Re: Totally dumb question
How do you replace the original photo with an edited one if it is linked with the forum address? You can edit the text but how do you replace the attachment?

Re: Totally dumb question
Steve,
Change the name of the edited photo file. (ie: "photo.jpg" being the original file name change the edited version to "photo1.jpg" in your files, then change the attachment name to match. the forum site will "look up" the new file name and update its link.)

Re: Totally dumb question
Many thanks Neil, and thanks for the 2nd post as I didn't realise the forum site will look up the new file name!
