Quick Mask A problem with a solution
Hi Steve Just working my way through the CS3 book and note on page 13 item 3 Now enter quick Mask mode by pressing Q the circle will appear solid red? It was the inverse for me. So I then selected inverse before pressing Q. That was no good either, when you enter Free Transform the whole Image is selected. It took quite a bit of searching before I found that double clicking on the quick mask mode button brings up a choice of selecting the Marquee area or the inverse for filling in with the solid red. This is a nice trick once you figure out how to do it. Perhaps this operation should be mentioned somewhere? |

Kostas, On page 8 the 3rd paragraph explains the changing of the option to the selected areas after double clicking the icon. Neil _________________ "I haven't failed.... I've found 10,000 ways that don't work!" Thomas Edison |

Re: Quick Mask A problem with a solution
Oh Dear I guess I am going to have to read all of what is written at the left hand side of the page!!! Generally it does not give information of this sort. I thought all the important stuff was in the tutorial or the hot tip? We live and learn. At least I did find the answer myself and thought someone else might benefit from it Kostas |
