My CS3 quickmask and selection operates differently to the book.
I make a circular selection. I click quick mask. In the book you would see a red circle. When i do it, its a clear circle with red surroundings. Can this be changed. |

Hi Dan, Just double click on the Quick Mask icon and it will bring up a dialogue box where you can reverse the selection, change the opacity of the red mask and even the colour of the mask. You might want to change the mask colour if you are working on an image with a lot of red in it so that you can see better what you are selecting. Gordon |

Look at the first QuickMask page in the book: the intro tells you how to switch the QuickMask mode. Funny how no-one ever reads this! |
