Text in Photoshop not working
Was hoping someone maybe able to help me. The text isnt working in my Photoshop. When I select Text all I get is a black dot (see attached screen shot) and none of the text that i type appears on the screen. Anyone else experienced this problem? Im using Vista. Thank you in advance ![]() |

Re: Text in Photoshop not working
I suspect that document is around A4 as it's at 25% and on a fairly high-res screen resolution. I can just about make out that the font is 14pt(?). Ordinarily, this would still show a cursor as well as the baseline marker, but, if you have made changes to the text attributes previously, PS keeps the settings, even after shutting down. Open the character palette and check the settings; particularly the vertical scaling. You can go back to defaults by selecting Reset Character from the palette menu. If that doesn't work, you may have to trash the prefs file. _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |
