The art of woodturning
I have learnt soooo much from this very informative book . I do have a question however, relating to page 272 The Art of Woodturning. I'm trying to follow the directions but am having all sorts of problems. When I open the file from the CD it has a clipping mask on the wood -> plinth, yet there is no mention of a clipping mask in the book. Im becoming bamboozled. Has anyone else experienced any difficulties or is it just me? I hope someone can help me. Thanks Sue M. |

Re: The art of woodturning
Hi Sue, I think it's just the terminology: Adobe changed the name of clipping masks to Clipping Groups or, as the book uses, simply Groups in CS2 and above (what were previously Groups are now Sets, just to confuse the issue further). Hope this helps! _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

Thanks David, that's clarified one area... (I've previously been using Corel, Corel PhotoPaint) I am so impressed with Photoshop! - a whole new learning curve (no pun intended) |
