Printing different images on same page
I am new to Photoshop and have been a Paintshop Pro user for many years, I find the print with preview arrangement with Photoshop is not as good as Paintshop !! I may be missing something ,but with Paintshop you can select a number of different images then drag them into the print preview page which is almost full screen size. With photoshop I find that the preview is a very small part of the page and I cannot rotate the images , ( which I usually do to cram more pics on one page ! ) Please could anyone help , I have Photoshop books everywhere in my house !! Cheers Neale. |

Sounds like you're talking about something similar to Picture Package (File > Automate). You select the number of images per page and, by default, it will place multiple copies of the same file but if you click the grid squares, you can add different images. _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

Yes, that's exactly what I was after, but I still use Paintshop for my printing of photos to check what they look like on paper!! Thanks from Neale. |

Re: Printing different images on same page
Hi As an alternative, I find that for ultimate control a good method is to set up a new file with a white background, say A4 and then go to View / Show / Grid. By going into Edit / Preferences, you can set up the grid to exactly how you like. Select the marquee tool and define an area you wish the target image to occupy. You should find that the tool should snap to the lines. There is a 'snap to' function under the View menu. Once the marquee is defined, then open the target image and select all (Ctrl A) and copy (Ctrl C). Return to your new file and select Edit / Paste into. This should automatically place a mask in accordance with the selected area. Just select Free Transform (Ctrl T) and holding the shift key drag a corner handle to resize to suit. Hope this helps. Thanks Nick, Sorry for the delay in replying , but I only use the Internet once or twice a week , depending on work. I have tried your suggestion, and yes , it works a treat. Thanks again, Neale |
