Chapter 7, 8-11 shortcuts do not follow book
I see the over shadows in 8 on page 149 (cheat photoshop CS3) Clicking on Control and on layer "name" grays out the layers icons. Pressing Q dones not put the redish tinge on the cards, but the history palate says I am in quick mask. When I go to the levels dialogue box the white arrow is all the way to the left. If I control-click on the icon, however in the layers palate I do get the the redish mask but when I am in the levels palate the white arrow is still all the way to the right. What am I missing?/ Love the book! Scheinz |

If you double click on quick mask icon you will get a window to change option from masked areas to selected areas. This controls which is the red tinge. |
