enlarge plugin
I remember reading about a great Photoshop plugin that allowed you to enlarge images without great loss in quality or less loss than when resizing in Photoshop alone. Does anyone know the name of it or of any other good plugin for minimizing quality loss when enlarging? |

Do get a trial before you purchase. I'm not convinced it works. |

Re: enlarge plugin
I tried the demo a while back. It does work, but only marginally better than Photoshop's Bicubic modes. Since it uses a fractal based approach, it may be better for enlarging photos with natural patterns like grass or leaves. However, you can get freeware programs such as IrfanView or XnView that offer Lanczos resizing, which is also better than Photoshop's Bicubic. Be sure to try those as well. |

Re: enlarge plugin
Thanks for the advice and I have Irfanview but never realized you could resize with it and more so that it is actually better than what Photoshop offers?? Wow that is news to me, thank you very much. |

Re: enlarge plugin
No problem. Yes, Lanczos resizing is superior to Bicubic. Resize an image using Photoshop and then resize the same one with IrfanView using Lanczos and compare. |
