Odd effects in B&W
Hi All, Been going through some old B&W snaps. One is of a relative, posed in front of a locomotive - during the war years (he was a train driver) The picture was in a bad state, but after a lot of work I managed to produce a good pic(on screen) All work carried out in grayscale-so colour doesnt come into it(I thaught) But when I tried to print it ,the print came out white and green(where it should be black) Other pics print normally. I changed from PSD to JPEG but same result. Any ideas ? |

Re: Odd effects in B&W
Check the printer dialog to see if you have photoshop or the printer set up to manage colors. If you have photoshop set up to manage color, then you should turn off color management in your printer. If you have it set for the printer to manage color, you need to set the color management in your printer to on. Either way, you may be able to set your printer to print in gray scale. To try this, you will need to access your printer's settings dialog. You can usually get to this by clicking on the page setup button in Photoshop's print dialog. If not, you may need to access it through the printer's software. If you still can't get to it, you may not have the printer software/drivers installed. Check Epson's site for the drivers and support software for your printer. |

Re: Odd effects in B&W
Many thanks to you both. Ran "Print with preview" Then turned off "Colour managment" and it works fine. Cheers. |
