Brush Presets
Having made a selection of an image for a new brush (in this case a small ginger kitten) and converted it into a preset, is there any way I can use it with the original colours, or am I stuck with just using the Foreground colour. The saved brush appears in the palette in black and white. |

Re: Brush Presets
Just a guess, but saving a brush only saves the shape. If if you know the original color just dial it in by double clicking on color patch or use the color picker on original subject. |

Re: Brush Presets
The brush does not save colors, but uses the foreground color, or the foreground and background colors when color dynamics is selected. |

Re: Brush Presets
Harrott I have achieved some great creative effects by painting with a custom brush on a new layer and then clipping a gradient adjustment layer to it. Further enhancements can be made by changing the blending mode of the brush layer. Nick |
